Letters to Our Senior Buddies

May 22, 2020 by Kathryn Bartlett

One of our most treasured traditions at Saint James School is the Kindergarten Senior Buddy Program. Each of our graduating seniors is paired with a Kindergarten “buddy” for the year. The buddies participate in fun activities throughout the year and form a special friendship. The Kindergarten students look up to their senior friends, and the teenagers cherish the time spent with their special pals. We were so saddened to miss many traditions this spring, including the final Kindergarten Senior Buddy outing, kite flying. As one of the favorite spring experiences, the kite flying event is one everyone looks forward to. We are hoping there will be a time in the future when our buddies may have a chance to reunite one last time before our seniors leave for college. To send them off, the Kindergarten friends wrote hear-felt messages t their buddies. Theirs is a friendship that will not be forgotten! #WeAreSaintJamesSchool
